Some of us have a very limited space to make a garden complete with a pond. However for those of you who like water features so much that you want to try out a DIY (D0-It-Yourself) mini water garden project to realize your dream garden.

Let's do it. Follow the steps below:

Before proceeding you need to get the materials as listed below:

1.Vase or Terracotta Vase or Wooden Barrel with round or rectangular shape depend on your pump size.

2. Bricks as support to your pump.

3. Small grain sand or sand fom river

4. Marginal Plants or aquatic plants in small vase.

Step 1. Get a big vase or container like wooden barrel or terracootta vase.

Step 2. Install a medium size pump depending on the container size.

Step 3. Use two bricks as a support to the pump for stability or additional height .

Step 4. Put in river rocks or decorative rocks to fill up the space between the bricks and the pump

Step 5. Arrange suitable aquatic plants and marginal plants. It is suggested that these plants are potted in small container.

Step 6. Fill up the conntainer with water. When done, switch on the pump to see the final outcome.
