Idea No. 2
Design by: Andy Low (Harmony Garden, Sungai Buloh, Malaysia)
Andy has classified the location of the house into 2 building phases that is for first 3 years and after 3 years on. Since this is a new housing developement, for the first 3 years the process of soil and plants management has to be detailed and consistent. The layout of landscape recommended is temporary in nature.
Overall View / Basics Of Design
Planting processes can create a combination of garden and style. Sun rises from the south make the area becomes hot and shady at the edge of the house. Andy suggested that a serene mini park for the narrow and limited space of the semi-detached house to eliminate the dull and boring environment.
Color Pallete
Every plants were choosen to cheer up the garden in displaying the color images, textures, shapes and touches. Color can give character to the space but there must be a balance and suitabilityto the entire garden. He picked up trees with the soft combination of flowers with a variety of foliage in order to create contrast at the garden.. It always make your garden appear larger, splash of colors here and there will do to increase interest in gardening.
